Your Greatest Potential is a Thought Away.
A modern look at Hypnosis
For over a decade I have been studying the remarkable power of the human mind and teaching people how to harness that power. As a Board Certified Hypnotist I know the most important tool for helping people to achieve their goals is education. When I see a client, my first priority is ensuring that they understand what hypnosis is and how it can be used to greatly improve their ability to make the changes in their life that they have come to me for. These articles are part of my goal to educate and empower you, as well as help to clear misinformation that surrounds the use of hypnosis.
Large numbers of people are beginning to discover the enormous benefit of learning how to use the natural power that their mind provides. The hundreds of new clients which I see each year are all evidence of this. People are also discovering that these benefits go far beyond the stereotypical beliefs that hypnosis is limited to weight loss and smoking cessation. Many individuals just like you have experienced the benefits of learning how to engage the seemingly unlimited part of the human mind. Your subconscious mind has superior intelligent qualities, potentially unlimited creativity and holds the key to unlocking your prospects for continued success.
Even though the time tested use of “direct suggestion” hypnosis has had incredible results helping people to make important changes in their lives it is now known to be just the tip of the iceberg. Discoveries have shown that non-genetic factors such as an emotional state can cause human genes to behave (“or express themselves”) differently. A leading pioneer in this research, Dr. Bruce Lipton, a cell biologist and bestselling author of the book “The Biology of Belief” and recipient of the 2009 Goi Peace Award, has stated that when you change your thinking behavior, you are also reprogramming your genetics.
Understanding the power of the subconscious mind and its affects at the cellular level has opened up new ways for people, like you, to achieve vibrant and healthy lives. If there were a warning label put on the proper use of hypnosis it would likely read “periods of happiness, joy, and peaceful physical and emotional states”.
When you discover the capacity that you have to control how you live your life the positive effects seem endless. Emotional control over your life may be one of the most rewarding experiences that you may ever have. This control is not demanding or commanding. The control I speak of comes from understanding that your emotions are a perfect guidance system. When you learn how to engage your highly responsive guidance system known as emotions you can achieve things in your life that today may seem impossible to you.
Advanced Hypnotic techniques such as the “Halls of Thought” developed, used at the Tri-State Hypnosis Center and taught in seminars and lectures all over the United States, have been created to establish a self empowering means in which you can become aware of subconscious thoughts and emotions that motivate both the unwanted and wanted behaviors. Freedom from any habit begins with your ability to understand the relationship between the thoughts and emotions that drive your habits.
It is this profound understanding of this relationship achievable through hypnotic techniques that allows you to evaluate and modify your subconscious programs. The new programs that you create facilitate changes in your life that are meaningful and rewarding to you personally.
The choices are clear, you can continue to live your life in the shadows of your subconscious mind or you can enjoy the freedom of choosing the thoughts that best promote the life that you wish to live.
